On the advice of the Aboriginal Task force, the Brandon Urban Aboriginal Peoples’ Council was created. It is designed to foster support and growth and meaningful dialog in all the strategic areas.

The Brandon Urban Aboriginal Peoples’ Council and its partners in the community work as one committee in identifying and promoting Aboriginal issues to the City of Brandon. It is through this committee that we are able to identify needs within the community and how to address them through social and economic solutions. As BUAPC continues to grow, we encourage others to get involved and to join us at monthly meetings.
